Garage Sale Shenanigans

Our fundraiser this year was a Garage Sale. Organizing donations from dozens of families is not an easy job, but Lindsey made it run like a well-oiled machine!
The entire week prior to the sale was spent sorting and pricing all the donated goods. We had everything from clothing and toys to sporting goods, electronics, jewelry, furniture, and even a few items that we could hardly put a label on. (ahem…. Chiweenie)
A special Preview Party the night before the sale allowed all the Side by Side girls to get first dibs on the goods! Stephanie and Terra were the masterminds behind this lovely event – we even had delicious food to eat while we shopped!
Some of the hottest items were some deer antlers and a tiny stuffed dog affectionately known as “Chiweenie” (which sold at 6:45am for $8!)
Thanks to everyone who donated items, helped organize prior to the sale, worked the day of the sale, helped spread the word, and of course shopped the sale. Talk about a team effort! So thankful to be a part of a group that can have so much fun while working toward a common goal.
